He and Dolan could be seen shaking hands and smiling at halftime, and Lee was in his courtside seat for the second half, according to ESPN. ![]() On Monday night, the Knicks management claimed Lee was trying to use the wrong entrance to the arena, and that the matter had been resolved. “I'm coming back next year, but I'm done for the season,” Lee said on ESPN’s First Take on Tuesday morning. ![]() Any number of fans might have lost interest, but the Brooklyn-born filmmaker has stuck around, at least until Monday night’s game against the Houston Rockets, where Lee was filmed having a heated dispute with MSG security. Through the last few decades of New York Knicks turmoil, including the customary carousel of coaches, general managers, and team presidents, there have been a few near constants: underwhelming performances, James Dolan’s ownership, and Spike Lee’s presence in the front row at Madison Square Garden home games.
